Bob Gowenlock, VP Corporate Affairs

Mr. Gowenlock has held positions in the telecom sector for over 27 years and has specialized in the implementation of telecommunications and broadcast regulation and administration of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). He has demonstrated sound business judgement, analytical ability and business acumen. Bob has been involved with or has been in an advisory capacity regarding regulatory decisions made by Canadian Radio-television, the Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), the Manitoba Public Utilities Board (PUB), and has a comprehensive understanding of developments in the telecommunications and broadcast environment elsewhere in Canada, U.S. and abroad. Mr. Gowenlock has managed a productive day-to-day working relationship between carrier and regulator, is experienced in developing corporate positions and preparing documentation for presentation to regulators, arbitrators and other clients Bob Gowenlock received a B.A. from the University of Manitoba where he also has done graduate work in both Economics and Natural Resources. Bob began his telecom career as a Certified Electronics Technician working in central office switching.
